Love is a verb I Global Youth Day 2023
In a heartwarming display of compassion and community spirit, the Boundary Road Adventist Youth Ministry in the suburb of Boundary Road rallied together to participate in this year's Global Youth Day on March 18th, 2023.
The Adventist youths took to the streets armed with bags of food and water, determined to make a difference in the lives of the homeless and hungry in their local area. With their bright smiles and enthusiastic attitudes, they handed out nourishing snacks and cold drinks to those in need, providing a momentary respite from the hardships of life on the streets.
The impact of their actions was clear to see as they witnessed the grateful reactions of the recipients, some of whom had not eaten for days. The Adventist youths shared their time, energy and resources with those who needed it most, embodying the values of their faith and making a real difference in the lives of their community.
Speaking to the Communication team , one of the youth leaders, Roland Supsup, said, "We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in Global Youth Day and to give back to our community in a meaningful way. Seeing the smiles on the faces of those we helped today has been truly inspiring and we hope to continue to make a positive impact in the lives of those around us."
The Boundary Road Adventist Youth Ministry's participation in Global Youth Day serves as a reminder of the importance of community and the power of small acts of kindness. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed and are a source of pride and inspiration for their fellow Adventists and community members alike.
