Overview
The Communication Department acts as a facilitator to the Administration and all departments of the Church in bridging them to the community respectively of their environment; as well as assist in getting its’ message to both internal and external publics. In order to do this, the department with the use of every reliable and available media, will produce content that is relevant to specific demographics within the respective publics.
MISSION: The mission of this department is to build "Bridges of Hope"
OBJECTIVES: To use and promote the use of modern communication techniques and media in the most effective manner for the swiftest proclamation of the everlasting gospel, and through a sound program of public relations to create a favorable climate for acceptance of the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
The desired effect in our church and activities is to create a favorable image of the church, its mission, life and activities, and to witness in order that many may follow Christ and become members of His church.
"Building bridges of hope” is the mission statement of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Communication Department. We work toward this goal by reaching out to diverse church audiences — both internally and externally — through many avenues of communication. Creating informative and intuitive web sites, updating social media sites, and writing news stories and press releases are some of the ways we share our message.
The Communications Department is responsible for propagating to the world the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ, in order to achieve the church members and community through an open communication program, responsible and full of hope, making use effective technologies and contemporary methods of communication.
Through our work, we foster a clearer image of the church, its mission, activities and witness, so that many will become followers of Christ and members of His church.
